RESOLUTION NO, 2256
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE APPROVING CHANGING
THE NAME OF CERTAIN STREETS WITHIN
TRACT 1390 (ROYAL OAKS)
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Arroyo Grande has considered an
application for renaminq certain streets within Tract 1390 (Royal Oaks); and
WHEREAS, the City Council has found that this project is consistent with
the General Plan and the Environmental Documents associated therewith, and the
proposed action is cateqorically exempt from the requirements of California
Environmental Quality Act (CEQA); and
WHEREAS. this item has been returned to and reviewed by the Staff Advisory
Committee, Public Safety officials and the Planninq Commission and found to be
in the best interest of the community; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds. after due study, deliberation and public
hearinq the followinq circumstances exist:
The renaminq of said streets is in the best interest of the pUblic health,
safety and welfare.
NOW, THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Arroyo Grande
hereby approves the name chanqes as listed below:
A. Oak Country Road is chanqed to Rodeo Drive
B, Oak Tree Lane is chanqed to Mesquite Lane
C. Oak Branch Road is chanqed to Old Ranch Road
D. Oak Ridqe Drive is chanqed to Mercedes Lane
E. Oak Grove Road is chanqed to Emerald Bay Drive
F. The small street previously unnamed will be Grace Lane

On motion of Council Member Johnson. seconded by Council Member Millis,
and on the fOl10winq roll call vote, to wit:

ABSENT: None
the foreqoinq Resolution was passed and adopted this 11th of October, 1988
