Minutes 1954-06-02 . ~ 312 : ~ ~ ~ N.ESULUZ'ION ~309 RESOLUTICiN OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE DIRECTING THE CHIEF 0~' POLICE TO MOVE ONTO THE CITY PROPERTY ON ELM STREET IN LINE WITH HIS POLICE DUTY. On motion of Councilman Brennan and seconded by Councilman Kerr'and by the following roll call vote to-wit: AYF.S: Councilmen Burt, Kerr, Pence and Brennan NOES: None " Af35ENT; Councilman Simpson ~ - the foregoing resolution was adopted. Chief of Police Mize said he would turn in the list of time and material for repairing the house at the well. The Council agreed to credit him $1.50 per hour for labor on repairing and painting. lhe Chief asked about putting in for a new police car so they could get delivery before the Ford now being used would have to have an overhaul. Council- man Brennan reported he thoug~t the new model would be out before too long and it was decided to make minor repairs and wait for the new models. Bills against the General Fund for ~3511.18, the Water Fund for ~1211.39, and the Water Deposit Fund for ~28.00 were audited, approved and ordered paid. It was moved and seconded that vouchers #50-51-52-53 and 5!~ be authorized for transfer. No further business appearing the meeting adjourned. ~ ATTF.S'1~ : i City Clerk Mayor ~ 2:00 P.I~I. Mr. Anderson reported the Conveyor Co. would furnish parts and deliver the sweeper to Arroyo Grande for $1000.00 as agreed and a motion was made by Councilman Brennan, seconded by Councilman Kerr authorizing Mr. Anderson to purchase the sweeper for ~1000.00 plus sales tax, at $100.00 down and ~a100.00 per month.
