On motion of Councilman Kerr, seconded by Councilman Pence and on the ~
following roll call vote to-wit: ~

the foregoing resolution was adopted.
Chief Mize reported the new police car had been ordered.
It was agreed to get information on the cost of pumping and supplying water
.
and also the water rates from other cities around and the yearly average cor~sumption
inside so the water rates could be studied.
Mr. Gooding's request for hooking to the city sewer was discussed and it was
agreed to check with Mr. Harris on the legality of denying the request.
No further business, it was moved and seconded the meeting be ad~aurned to
Monday ~ugust 9, 195~ at 1~:30 F.M.
