`1'he City Council met in as adjourned session with Mayor ~urt presiding. Upon
roll call Councilmen Pence and Brennan reported present. Absent Councilmen Kerr and
Simpson.
Discussion on repairing the 40 H.P. pump and motor was entered into and after
much study it was decided to repair the pump and motor and put in the well where the
60 H.P. has been and have the 60 H.P. pump overhauled and put in the new well. It
was agreed the 60 could be pulled and the 40 put in its place in one day if every-
thing was ready.
It was decided to have a committee to study the readjustment of water rates.

Several persons were named and it was agreed to contact two persons from
outside the city and four from inside to serve on a committee, they would be given
all the information and asked to make recommendations on rate adjustments.
