RESOLUTION NO. 2248
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE DESIGNATING ITS
REPRESENTATIVE ON THE CENTRAL COAST CITIES
SELF-INSURANCE FUND BOARD OF DIRECTORS
WHEREAS, the Cities of Arroyo Grande, Atascadero, Grover City
Guadalupe, Lompoc, Morro Bay, Paso Robles, Pismo Beach, Santa
Maria, Santa Paula and San Luis Obispo have entered into a Joint
Powers Agreement relating to Liability and Workers' compensation
dated July 1, 1977; and
WHEREAS, said agreement specifies that the City Council of
each agency party hereto shall appoint one representative who shall
be its member on the Board of Directors, and shall also appoint an
alternate for such representative who shall attend meetings in the
event that the appointed representative is unable to attend and
who shall, as an alternate, have the same rights as the
representative so appointed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the
City of Arroyo Grande does hereby appoint the city Manager of the
City of Arroyo Grande to act as voting representative on the Board
of Directors of the Central Coast Cities Self-Insurance Fund.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the city Council that in the event
the City Manager is unable to attend Board and/or other meetings
of such Central Coast cities Self-Insurance Fund, that the city
Manager is empowered to select a designee.
On motion of Council Member Millis, seconded by Council Member
porter, and on the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Millis, Porter, Johnson, Moots and Mayor
Mankins
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
the foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted this 23rd day of
August, 1988.

I, NANCY A. DAVIS, City Clerk of the City of Arroyo Grande, County
of San Luis Obispo, State of California, do hereby certify under penalty

of said Council on the 23rd day of August, 1988.
