The City Council met in regular session wi~h ~2ayor Burt presiding. Upon
ro11 c~ll Councilmen Lee, Pence, Jacobs and Brennan reported pre.~ent.
The minutes of the previous regular and ad~ourr~ed meetings were read and
agproved as read.
Plans for the ~ood Place sewer were ready and a motion was made by ~ounC~l-
man ~srennan~ secanded by ~ouncilman Fence to advertise for bids to be opened
~ay 7th, 195? 8 P. ~totian Carried.
Improvement of Huasna Road was discussed and Councilman Brennan was to
prepare a letter to I~. 5heehy asking what action w~s being taken,
The 8 inch water line east of to~rn on Huasna Raad was diseussed, and ~
motion made by Councilman Pence to proceed ~rith plans for the installation of
the 8 inch line from the ~igh SGhooy to the ~ilkinson ~son~our 1'ract. ~'he
Motion was seconded by Counci7.man Lee and a11 members voted Aye.
Mr. Harry Brown was present to repart ta the Council on the meeiing.of
the Citizen's Fire Committee. ~he next rneeting was to be held ~pri1 23rd and
or~e of the subjects of discuss3.on was the location or relocation of the fire
house.
Counci~m~an Lee asked psrmission to Ieave the 5tate for the month of May
and it was moved, seconded and carried to grant his request.
Some discussion about use of the rooms now being occupied by the Justice
Court Pollowed and l~ayor Burt was to contact T~. Sheshy for an informaZ
meeting to discuss sev~ral sub3eets.
Bills against the General Fund for ~19b1.lt2 and the ~ater ~und for
~1019.00 Were audited, approved and ordered paid. ,
No further business appearing upon motion the meeting ad~ourned. v
