RESOLUTION NO. 2231
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ARROYO GRANDE ESTABLISHING A "NO PARKING"
ZONE ON A PORTION OF ARROYO STREET (FREEWAY
FRONTAGE ACROSS FROM 508 ARROYO STREET TO
WEST CHERRY AVENUE)
WHEREAS, it appears necessary and desirable to prohibit
parking on a portion of Arroyo street, as specifically described
below:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Arroyo Grande, as follows:
That a "No Parking" zone be established on
the easterly frontage of Arroyo street,
extending from a point at the intersection of
the northerly line of west Cherry Avenue and
the easterly line of Arroyo Street, thence
southerly to a point on the easterly right-
of-way line two hundred twenty feet (220 ')
south of the intersection of the northerly
line of west Cherry Avenue and the easterly
line of Arroyo Street.
BE IT, FURTHER RESOLVED that the Chief of Police of the City
of Arroyo' Grande be, and is hereby authorized to provide and
install sufficient signs and/or markings to indicate said "No
Parking" Zone.
On motion of Council Member Porter , seconded by
Council Member Johnson , and on the following roll
call vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Porter, Johnson, Mill is, Moots and Mayor Mank i ns
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
the foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted this 10th day
of May, 1988,
