August 14, 1961
The City Council met in Special session with Mayor
Burt presiding. Present:were Councilmen Hartwig, Lee and
Pence. Absent ~as Councilman Jacobs.
Les Hacker requested a lease from the City for the
Park,property in the Valley.View_Tract for a radio site.
The ~ouncil discussed the terms and conditions and in-
structed the city attorney to draw such an instrument for
a 20 year period.
A motion was ma.de by.Counc~,lman Pence, seconded by
Councilman Hartwig, that the Mayor be authorized to execute
a lease for the City property when_prepared by the City
Attorney. Al1 members present voted "Aye". Absent
Council~an Jacobs.
