July 30, 1963 - 4:30 P.M.
The City Council met in special session with Mayor Burt
presiding. Upon roll call Councilmen Lee, Wood and McNeil
reported present. ~ouncilman Jacobs was absent.
A motion was made by Councilman Lee, seconded by Councilman
McNeil that the City Clerk be authorized and directed to have
advertised the "Notice to Bidders" for the purchase and-install-
ation of one base station, three remote control units, one an-
tenna and four mobile units. Bids to be opened at 8:00 o'clock
P.M. August l3, 1963. Said purchase being necessary to conform
to the F.C.C. rules effective October 31, 1963. All members
present voted "Aye".
After discussion Councilman Lee amended his motion to read
that the City Clerk be authorized and directed to have advertised
the "Notice to Bidders" for the purchase and installation of one
base station, three remote control units, one antenna and four
moL~ile units. Bids to be opened at 2:00 o'clock P.M. August 13,
1963, in the office of the City Administrator. Said purchase
being necessary to conform to the F.C.C. rules effective October
31, 1963. The motion was seconded by Councilman Wood. All
. members present voted "Aye".

On motion of Councilman Wood, seconded by Councilman Lee
the meeting adjourned at 4:40 P.M. All members present voted "Aye".
