RESOLUTION NO. 2214
~ RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ARROYO GRANDE ESTABLISHING A "NO PARKING"
ZONE ON A PORTION OF THE LINDA DRIVE AND
BENNETT AVENUE CONNECTION (MUNICIPAL CODE SEC.
2-7.04) (Supersedes Resolution No. 2150)
WHEREAS, it appears necessary and desirable to prohibit
parking on a portion of the Linda Drive and Bennett Avenue
connection, as specifically described_below:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the city Council of the
City of Arroyo Grande, as follows:
That a "No Parking" zone be established on
the northerly and westerly, and southerly
easterly frontages of the Linda Drive and
Bennett Avenue connection, extending from a
point seven hundred twenty feet (720 ') east
of the intersection of the centerlines of
Brisco Road and Linda Drive, thence northerly
and easterly to a point on the westerly and
easterly frontages of the Linda Drive and
Bennett Avenue connection, one thousand
forty six feet (1046') easterly and northerly
of the intersection of the centerline of
Brisco Road and Linda Drive.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Chief of Police of the City
of Arroyo Grande be, and is hereby authorized to provide and
install sufficient signs and/or markings to indicate said "No
Parking" Zone.
On motion of Council Member Johnson , seconded by
Council Member Porter , and on the following roll
call vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Johnson, Porter, Mi 11 is, Moots Clod Mayor Mank i ns
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
the foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted this 12th day
of April, 1988.
