RESOLUTION NO. 2213
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE. CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE
DESIGNATING A PORTION OF LINDA DRIVE
AS A ONE-WAY STREET
(Municipal Code Sec. 4-3.19)
The City Council of the City of Arroyo Grande does hereby resolve
as follows:
1. That portion of Linda Drive generally described as between Brisco
Road and the Times-Press-Recorder Newspaper parking lot, and as more specifically
described and depicted upon Exhibit "A" map and diagram attached hereto,
is hereby designated as a one-way only street, with traffic to move westerly
uphill toward Brisco Road.
2. The Police Chief and City Engineer are directed to install appropriate
signing, warning, and other devices to warn and alert drivers, and to initiate
vigorous enforcement activities.
3. The City Administrator shall, within six months, report to the
Council concerning the effectiveness of the one-way street in reducing
the traffic problems in this residential neighborhood.
On motion of Council Member Porter, seconded by Council Member Johnson,
and on the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Porter, Johnson, Moots, Millis and Mayor Mankins
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
the foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted this 12th day of April,
1988.
