A RESOLUTiON OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ARROYO GRANDE ESTABLISHING A "NO PARKING"
ZONE ON A PORTION OF SOUTH ELM STREET (120-
140 SOUTH ELM STREET) (MUNICIPAL CODE SEC.
2.7.04)
WHEREAS, it appears necessary and desirable to prohibit parking on a
portion of South Elm Street, as specifically described below:
NOW. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Arroyo Grande, as follows:
That a "No Parking" zone be establ ished on the
westerly frontage of South Elm Street, extending
from a point at the centerline of the intersection
of South Elm Street and Poplar Street, thence
northerly to a point on the westerly ri5ht-of-
way line, one hundred eighty feet (180' north
of the centerline of the intersection of South
Elm Street and Poplar Street.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Chief of Police of the City of Arroyo
Grande be, and is hereby authorized to provide and install sufficient signs
and/or markings to indicate said No Parking zone.
On motion of Council Member Moots , seconded by Council Member
Johnson , and on the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Moots, Johnson, Porter, Millis and M~yor Mankins
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
the foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted this 24th day 0 f
November, 1987.
