RE SOL UTI ON NO. 2183

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ARROYO GRANDE ESTABLISHING A "NO PARKING"
ZONE ON A PORTION OF SOUTH ELM STREET (ELM
STREET FRONTAGE OF 1205 POPLAR STREET)
(MUNICIPAL CODE SEC. 2-7.04)
WHEREAS, it appears necessary and desirable to prohibit parking on a
portion of South Elm Street, as specifically described below:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Arroyo Grande, as follows:
That a "No Parking" zone be established on the
westerly frontage of South Elm Street, extending
from a point at the centerline of the intersection
of South Elm Street and Poplar Street, thence
southerly to a point on the westerly right-of-way
line, eighty-five feet (85') south of the center-
line of the intersection of South Elm Street and
Poplar Street.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Chief of Police of the City of Arroyo
Grande be, and is hereby authorized to provide and install sufficient signs
and/or markings to indicate said No Parking zone.
On motion of Council Member Johnson , seconded by Council Member
Porter , and on the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Johnson, Porter, Millis, Moots and Mayor Mankins
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
the foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted this 24th day of
November, 1987.
