A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ARROYO GRANDE ESTABLISHING A "NO PARKING"
ZONE ON A PORTION OF GRAND AVENUE (1303 GRAND
AVENUE) (MUNICIPAL CODE SEC. 2-7.04)
WHEREAS, it appears necessary and desirable to prohibit parking on a
portion of Grand Avenue, as specifically described below:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Arroyo Grande, as follows:
That a "No Parking" zone be establ ished on the
southerly frontage of Grand Avenue. extending
from a point at the centerline of the inter-
section of Grand Avenue and Juniper Street,
thence westerly to a point on the southerly
right-of-way line, one hundred fifty-eight
feet (158') west of the centerline of the
intersection of Grand Avenue and Juniper
Street.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Chief of Police of the City of Arroyo
Grande be. and is hereby authorized to provide and install sufficient signs
and/or markings to indicate said No Parking zone.
On motion of Council Member Moot s , seconded by Council Member
Johnson , and on the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Moots, Johnson, Porter, Millis and Mayor Mankins
NOES: None
ABSENT: None ,
the foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted this 24th day of
November, 1987.
