AUTHORIZATIUN TO I~TEGOTIATE FOR R/W HLTASNA ROAD IMPROUENiENT
City Adminis~trator B~tch advised that the preliminary Engi~~er-~
ing for the ~~.~apro~ea~c~ent of H~.asraa Road was progressing satisfs~~xa~~~LF~~a
and that obtairning the ne~essar~ rights-of-way sho~ald 1~e started at
this time so ~hat the project p~an will progress smoot~ly.
Af~er Couneil discussion a rno~ion was rriade by Councilwoman
Thompson, seconded by Councillman Levine, ~hat ~ity Administratar
Butch be instruc~ed and authorized to ~oanmence negotiations with the
property owners of the four parcels of property raecessary for the
first phase of construction in accordance with tk~e "Plan-Line" for
improvement of Huasna Road. Motion carrie~d.
PROPOSED S~GN ORDIN:ANCE - COUNCIL aNSPECTION TOUR OF VARIOUS SIGNS
The City Council as a bod~r left the Co~ncil Chambers to make a
visual inspection tour of the various signs within the City that will
be in conflic~ with req~xirements of ~he propos~d sign ordinance.
Upon returning ~o the Co~xncil Claa~ers, wi~th all n~embers being pres-
ent as shown on rol.l call, tl~e Couracil held over furth er action an
the proposed sign ordirnance until the next regular rneeting of the
Council.
REVIEW PROPOSED MUNICIFAL CODE Alu9ENDMENT UNDERGROUND UTIL~TY ORD.
The Council ax~d representa~ives of t~ae Utili.ty Companies revie~nr-
ed the proposed ~andergroundinc~ of Utilities Ordinance. After Council
discussion it was agreed this Qrdinance be given its first reading at
the next reg~zlar rneeting of ~he Cou~cil.
PRELIMINARY 1967-68 BU1~GE'I' STLbI~Y
Cit~r Administrator ~3utch b~gan disc~xssion of the preliminary
1967-68 Niuni~ipal ~udge~ ~s prr~sented tA the City Council. The Gen-
eral Fund revenue was the f~rst area of disc~ass.ion, then £ollowed
d,iscussion axa the remainirag lEu~ds estianated reaenues. The Council
reviewed the proposed expenditures portion of the Budget through
page 14, Street Construction.
ADJOURNMENT
On motion by Councilrnan Levineo, seconded by Councilman Schlegel,
