ORDINANCE NO. 369 C.S.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE REPEALING
ORDINANCE NO. 306 C.S. AND TITLE 3, CHAPTER 6
OF THE ARROYO GRANDE MUNICIPAL CODE
WHEREAS, in January, 1984, the City Council of the City of Arroyo
Grande adopted Ordinance No. 306 C.S. implementing the California School
Facilities Act; and -
WHEREAS, AB 2926 authorized Lucia Mar Unified School District to
adopt fees in excess of fees allowed in City Resolution No. 1738, as permitted
by Ordinance No. 306 C.S.; and
WHEREAS, Lucia Mar .Unified School District adopted such fees, effective
March 14, 1987, as authorized by AB 2926j and
WHEREAS, the City thereafter adopted Resolution No. 2015 reducing
City school fees to "$D.OO," and stat ing the intent of the City Council
to repeal Ordinance No. 306 C.S. on March 14, 1988.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE DOES
HERE8Y ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: Arroyo Grande Municipal Code Chapter 6 of Title 3, Sections
3-6.01 through 3-6.16, is hereby repealed in its entirety.
SECTION 2: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect thirty
(30) days after its. passage, and within fifteen (15) days after its passage,
it shall be published once, together with the names of the Council Members
voting thereon, in a newspaper of general circulation.
On motion of Council Member Moots, ,seconded by Council Member
Johnson, and on the following roll call vote, to wit: --
AYES: Council Members Moots,. Johnson, Porter, Millis and Mayor Mankins
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
the foregoing Ordinance was passed and adopted this ~ day of February,
