A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY:OF
ARROYO GRANDE DECLARING THE 1984 VAN PELT FIRE
ENGINE AND THE 1996 HI-TECH FIRE ENGINE AS
SURPLUS PROPERTY AND AUTHORIZING THEIR SALE
WHEREAS the City of Arroyo Grande owns a 1984 Van Pelt fire engine and a 1996 Hi-
Tech fire engine that are no longer needed and
WHEREAS m past years, the City of Arroyo Grande has authorized the sale ortransfer of
surplus emergency services vehicles to agencies that have the resources to sell apparatus
to cities and other agencies that have a need for such equipment
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Arroyo Grande
does declare the 1984 Van Pelt fire engine and the 1996 Hi-Tech fire engine as surplus
property and authorizes the sale of said apparatus through an exclusive consignment
agreement with Fire Trucks Plus Inc
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager is authorized to execute said
agreement with Fire Trucks Plus Inc
On motion of Council Member Guthrie seconded by Council Member
Costello and on the following roll call vote to wit
AYES Council Members Guthrie Costello Arnold Fellows and Mayor Ferrara
NOES None
ABSENT None
the foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted this 22"d day of January 2008
