ORDINANCE NO. 359 C.S,
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE
DECLARING FIRE ENGINE #3 SURPLUS,
AND AUTHORIZING ITS SALE TO THE
SAN MIGUEL FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT
(GOVT. CODE #37351)
WHEREAS, Fire Engine #3 Has been replaced and is no longer needed
by the City; and
WHEREAS, both a municipal purpose and a public purpose would be served
by selling said fire engine for market value to the San Miguel Fire Protection
District;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of
Arroyo Grande, as follows:
1. Fire Engine #3 is hereby found and declared to be surplus property,
with a fair market value of $10,000.00.
2. The City Council hereby approves and authorizes the sale of Fire
Engine #3 to the San Miguel Fire Protection District in the County of San
Luis Obispo.
On motion of Council Member Johnson, seconded by Council Member Porter,
and on the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Johnson, Porter, Moots, Millis and Mayor Mankins
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
the foregoing Ordinance was passed and adopted at this reading on the 28th
day of July, 1987.
