DECLARING CANVASS OF F~FTURNS, AIdD RESULT Gl~ SPECIAL BOND
ELEC`PION HELD N'fARCH 18,1929•
WHER3AS, the Council of the City of Arroyo
Grande by Ordinance p;o. ?5, duly called and ordered held in
saki City of Arroyo Grande an election on the 18th day of
Mareh, 1929, for the purpose of submitting to the qualifiod
voters and electors thereof the following proposition, to wit;
PROPOSITT.ON: Shall the City of Arroyo Grande
incur a bonded indebtedness in
the principal sum of w60,000 for
the object and purpose of acquiring, construct-
ing and completing the following municipal im-
provement of said city, to wit; A water works
system, including lands, water, water rights,
rights of way, pumps, pumping plants, reservoirs,
storage facilities, pipe lines, mains, hydrants
and other works, properties and appliances neces-
sary or convenient for supplying said city and
its inhabitants t,ith water?
AND i",'kiEREAS, said ordinance calling and ordoring
said' election teas duly published as required by lase and by said

was duly held in accordance with lave and with said call, on
the said 18th day of March, 1929, as aforesaic_, and that the
polls for said election were kept open during the time required
by law, and that said election was Yield and conducted, and
the votes thereat received and canvassed, and the returns
thereof ascertained, determined and declared, all as provided
by the laws, of the State of California, and by said ordinance;

Council of said City of Arroyo Grande met at its usual plane
of meeting and has canvassed the returns of said special
election as required by law, and the result of said. canvass is
found to be as hereinafter stated and set forth:

by ,the Council of the City of Arroyo Grande, as follows;
1. - That the proposition voted upon at said
speciril,election was as follows:
PROPOSITION: Shall the City of Arroyo Grande
incur a bonded indebtedness in
