RESOLUTION N0. `~`~ CNEW SERIES}
APPROVSNG THE ASSESSMENT FOR TAE T~ROVEMENT
OF PORTIONS OF MASON, NELSON, ALLE& AND
LE"POINT STREETS IN THPs CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE
WHEREAS, Ben. D. Conrad,.. City Engineer of the C-ity of Arroyo
Grandee did, on the 21st day of August, 1929 file. in the office of
the City Clerk of said City+ an assessment and diagram made to cover
the costa and expenses of the work recently done in said City, pursuant
to the provisions of the a'Ilnprovement Act of 1911 a', as amended, and
pursuant to and as described in Resolution of Intention No. 3O' (New
Series.}, passed by the City Council of the City of Arroyo Grande on
the 23rd day of January, T929, said Resolution of Intention being
hereby expressly referred to for further partieularat
AND WHEREAS", Wednesday the 1].th day of September. 1929, at
the hour of 8c00 o"cloak P.M, of said day, in the Council chamber of
said City Council, was, fixed as the time and plaoe for hearing, any
appeals from said assessment;
AND WHEREAS. Notice of the filing of the. assessment made to
cover the sum due for the work-performed and of the time anal place for
hearing therein fixed by the City Clerk, when alL persons interested
in the work ,done or itt the assessment, would he heard by the City
Council, was posted and published in the time, manner and form required
by Section 21 ,of said set as appears from the affidavits of publishing
and posting on file with the City Clerk!
AND ,WHEREAS, no appeals in writing were filed as provided by
Section 21 of said act, and the City Council having given to any and
all persona interested in the said work, or in said assessment, €ull
opportunity to he heard thereon, and to state any and all objections
to said work or said assessment, and the City Council }laving duly heard
and cone~idered the same",
IT IS' HEREBY RESOLVED AND 7YBTERPIiINB'D by the City Council of
the City of Arroyo Grande, that said work has been performed according
to the contract, in a good and substantial manner, that no portion of
the work for any reason was omitted or illegally included in the'con-
tract for thelsame, that the assessment and diagram made in pursuance.

of the provisions of said act were correctx
WE~REFCRE, all the acts and determinatiane of the City
Engineer oY satd City, relative to said r~ork and improvement and the
assessment and diagram, be, and the same are hereby, approved, ratified
and confirmed; and the Superintendent of Streets of said City is here-
by directed'to attach fo said assessment, a warrant hearing the date
of this Resolution, which warrant shall be signed by the said Superin-
tendent of Streets. and countersigned by the Mayor of said City.
T HEREBY CERTIFY, that the forego-ing resolution was duly
and regularly adopted by the City Council of the City of Arroyo Grande
at an adjourned, regular meeting thereof', held on the 11th day of
September, 192.9. by the following vote:
