In tha Matter of Shoreline Planning association:
The following Resolution is nom introduced:
WHEREAS,the beaches along the Coast line of the State of
California constitute one of its most important assets which,if
ful],y utilized,can be caused to yeild enormous dividends in both
health and money to the people of the State of California by
affording public recreation and attracting additional tourists
to this State from all over the world:
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the COUNCIL of the City of
Arroyo Grande that this `'ouncil hereby declares and expresses
that it is fully in accord with the legislation introduced in
the Legislature to appropriate the sum of $15,OOO,OOO.to the
State Park Commission to be expended for the acquisition of
Ocean beaches and bays and inlets thereof for public recreational
use.
