' ~~ ~~T RESOLVED, that '~±HEREAS, on the o~~day of
$; the City Council of the City of Arroyo
Grande, at a regular meeting, passed a resolution of inten-
tion to abandon and close a portion of Alpine Street, and
u1HF,REAS, in conformity with said resolution, the
City Clerk of said City caused to be conspicuously posted
along the line of said portion of said Alpine Street, at
intervals of not less than 300 feet in distance apart, and
not less than three in all, notices of the passage of said
resolution„ which said notice was headed: 'NOTICE OF IN-
TENTION TO VACATE, ABAAIDOIU AND CLOSE A PORTION OF ALPINE
STREET IN THE CITY (~' ARROYO GRANDE, COUNTY OF SAN LUIS
UBISPO, STAT'~ OF CALIFO RNIA:" and
V'IHERE~.S, the City Clerk did, in conformity with said
resolution, cause a true copy of said notice to be published
at least tw~:ce in the Herald-Piecorder, a weekly newspaper
published and circulated in the City of Arroyo Grande, and
designated by said Council; and
GJHE~tEAS, no persons objected to said proposed vaca-
ting, abandonment and closing, in writing, or otherwise,
within ten (10) days after the expiration of the time of the
publication, of said notice, or at all,
NU~4, THERJ3FURL, IT IS HERZ;BY ORDERED that that
portion of Alpine Street, in the City of Arroyo Grande,
County of San Luis Obispo, State of California, and

hereinafter more particularly described, be, and the same is
hereby vacated, abandoned and closed. Said portion of Alpine
Street referred to is described as follows, to-vrit:
"That portion of Alpine Street shown on that
certain map entitled "Map of the 4destern Ad-
dition of the Town of Arroyo Crande, surveyed
March, 1$94, by C. Y~,'. Henderson", and being
bounded on the East by Block 14,•on the North
by U.S. Highway IQo. 101, on the West by Block
15, and on the Jouth by the Northerly boundary
line of Feah Street, saving and excepting, how-
ever, aright of way on the Easterly 10 feet of
the said Alpine Street, for the purpose of main-
taining, repairing and/or reconstructing the
sewer line, water line and for gas and electric-
ity.
