A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ARROYO GRANDE UPGRADING THE PUBLIC WORKS OFFICE
ASSISTANT I POSITION TO AN OFFICE ASSISTANT II
POSITION
WHEREAS, the full-time position of Office Assistant I is currently in place in the Public
Works Department; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Arroyo Grande ("City") deems it in the best
interest of the City to upgrade the Office Assistant I position to an Office Assistant II
position based on the additional duties that will be assigned to this position.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ARROYO GRANDE AS FOLLOWS:
1. That the position of Office Assistant I in the Public Works Department is upgraded
to an Office Assistant II position.
2. This Resolution shall become effective as of June 27, 2008.
On motion of Council Member Costello, seconded by Council Member Guthrie, and on
the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Costello, Guthrie, Arnold, Fellows, and Mayor Ferrara
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
