A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ARROYO GRANDE SUPPORTING THE EXPANSION
OF THE HALCYON ROAD PARK AND RIDE LOT
WHEREAS, the City of Arroyo Grande is an eligible applicant for California Proposition
iB Program funds; and,
WHEREAS, there is an immediate need to expand the existing Halcyon Road Park and
Ride Lot which is a project that is eligible for funding under the California Proposition 1 B
Program; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Arroyo Grande has limited funding for pursuing the expansion of
the Halcyon Road Park and Ride Lot; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Arroyo Grande is desperately seeking grant funding to expand
the Halcyon Road Park and Ride Lot.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Arroyo
Grande does hereby support the expansion of the existing Halcyon Road Park and Ride
Lot and is seeking California Proposition 1 B Program grant funds to design and
construct the project.
On motion of Council Member Costello, seconded by Council Member Arnold, and by
the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Costello, Arnold, Guthrie, Fellows, and Mayor Ferrara
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
the foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted this 27`" day of January, 2009.
