A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ARROYO GRANDE APPROVING INSTALLATION OF A
STOP SIGN ON WESTBOUND LE POINT STREET AND
SIGNAGE AND STRIPING IMPROVEMENTS AT THE
NEVADA STREET AND LE POINT STREET INTERSECTION
WHEREAS, business owners and residents in the vicinity of the Nevada Street and Le
Point Street intersection requested signage and striping improvements at the
intersection to enhance safety and assist in the orderly flow of traffic; and
WHEREAS, on January 26, 2009 the Traffic Commission held a public hearing and
recommended that the City Council approve installation of a stop sign on westbound Le
Point Street at the intersection with Nevada Street.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Arroyo
Grande, hereby approves the installation of a stop sign on westbound Le Point Street at
the intersection with Nevada Street and related striping and signage improvements.
This Resolution shall take effect upon its adoption.
On motion of Council Member Fellows, seconded by Council Member Arnold, and on
the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Fellows, Arnold, Guthrie, Costello, and Mayor Ferrara
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
the foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted this 10~h day of February, 2009.
