A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO
GRANDE AMENDING THE MASTER FEE SCHEDULE FOR
LICENSING AND REGULATION OF FORTUNE TELLER AND
FORTUNE TELLING ESTABLISHMENT PERMITS AS AUTHORIZED
BY ARROYO GRANDE MUNICIPAL CODE SECTION 5.80.070
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Arroyo Grande adopted Ordinance No. 611,
adding Chapter 5.80 to the Arroyo Grande Municipal Code providing for the regulation
and licensing of the business of fortune- telling and related practices; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Arroyo Grande adopted Resolution No.
4060 approving a Citywide Master Fee Schedule; and
WHEREAS, Arroyo Grande Municipal Code Section 5.80.070 requires that the City
establish fees for the regulation and licensing of the business of fortune telling and
related practices.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Arroyo
Grande hereby amends the Master Fee Schedule to update the fees and fee structure
for the licensing and regulation of fortune teller and fortune telling establishment
permits as set forth in•Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein by this
reference as though set forth in full.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Arroyo Grande that
this Resolution shall become effective upon the effective date of Ordinance No. 611.
On motion of Council Member Guthrie, seconded by Council Member Arnold,
and on the following roll call vote to wit:
AYES: Council Members Guthrie, Arnold, Fellows, and Mayor Ferrara
NOES: None
ABSENT: Costello
