R 4227 RESOLUTION NO. 4227
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ARROYO GRANDE DECLARING AN ITEM AS SURPLUS
AND AUTHORIZING ITS SALE
WHEREAS, the City of Arroyo Grande (City) owns a 1991 International Service Truck
"PW -32 that cannot be modified to meet current California Air Resource Board
standards; and
WHEREAS, effective January 1, 2010 PW -32 can no longer legally be used by the City;
and
WHEREAS, PW -32 can be classified as surplus property and made available for sale.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Arroyo
Grande does hereby declare as surplus the 1991 International Service Truck, VIN
#1 HTSCNDL1 MH353262, and authorizes its sale.
On motion of Council Member Guthrie, seconded by Council Member Costello, and on
the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Council members Guthrie, Costello, Fellows, and Mayor Ferrara
NOES: None
ABSENT: Council Member Arnold
the foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted this 27 day of October 2009.
