, ORDINANCE NO. 332 C.S.

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE
PROHIBITING THE INTERFERENCE OF ANY PERSONS
REASONABLE AND COMFORTABLE ENJOYMENT OF LIFE
OR PROPERTY BY ANIMAL NOISE; AND REPEALING
AND AMENDING SECTION 6-1.07 OF THE MUNICIPAL
CODE.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section I: That Section 6-1.07 of the Municipal Code is hereby repealed
in its entirety and amended to read in its entirety as follows in Section 2
of this Ordinance.

Section 6-1.07. Unnecessary Noise. i

It shall be unlawful for any person to keep, maintain, or permit i

on any lot or parcel of land any dog, cat, poultry, or household pet or other
animal or pet which, by any sound or cry, shall disturb the peace and comfort I
of any neighborhood, or interfere with any person in the reasonable and I
comfortable enjoyment of life or property. I

Section 3: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect thirty (30) i
days after its passage, and within fifteen (15) days after its passage, it
shall be published once, together with the names of the Council Members voting r
thereon, in a newspaper of general circulation within the City.
On motion of Council Member Moots, seconded by Council Member
Gallagher, and on the fol1owingroll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Gallagher, Johnson, Moots, Porter and Mayor Smith
