ORDINANCE NO. 331 C.S.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE
AMENDING THE ARROYO GRANDE MUNICIPAL CODE,
SECTIONS 9-4.608, 9-4.708, 9-4.808, 9-4.908
AND 9-4.1018, PERTAINING TO THE INSTALLATION
OF SATELLITE OR OTHER DISH ANTENNAS.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: This Ordinance is adopted pursuant to Government Code Section
6582.2(a).
SECT! ON 2: Sections 9-4.608, 9-4.708, 9-4.808, 9-4.908 and 9-4.1018 of the
Municipal Code are hereby amended to read as follows:
The installation of Satellite or other Dish Antennas
shall be prohibited in any required front or side
yards or on any roof areas. Sa i d Sate Il i te or Other
Dish Antennas shall be permitted in rear yards only
and shall not be greater than twelve (12) feet in
total height above the natural grade.
SECTION 3: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect thirty (30)
days after its passage, and within fifteen (15) days after its passage, it
shall be published once, together with the names of the Council Members voting
thereon in a newspaper of general circulation within the City.
On motion of Council Member Gallagher, seconded by Council Member Moots,
and on the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Member Johnson, Moots and Mayor Smith
NOES: Council Member Gallagher and Porter
ABSENT: None
the foregoing Ordinance was passed and adopted this 11th day of June 1985.
