RESOLUTION NO. 3275

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ARROYO GRANDE REQUESTING AUTHORIZATION TO
CLOSE CITY STREETS AND USE CITY PROPERTY FOR
THE ANNUAL EASTER IN THE VILLAGE .
WHEREAS, organizers of the Annual Easter in the Village have requested closure ofa
portion of Short Street and the Olohan Alley/City Hall parking lot for the Annual Easter
in the Village exhibition on Saturday, April 4, 1998; and
WHEREAS, members of the Easter in the Village will be responsible for traffic control
and cleanup at the event.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE HEREBY
RESOLVES AS FOllOWS:
1. Short Street, from Branch Street to Olohan Alley, and the Olohan
Alley/City Hall parking lot shall be closed from 6:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.
Saturday, April 4, 1998 for the purposes of food and vendor booths; and
2. That the Association will adhere to certain requirements and conditions
set forth by the Public Works, Police, Building and Fire Department
regarding public safety and traffic control and other applicable conditions
of a Temporary Use Permit to be issued by the city.
On motion of Council MemberRnili;, seconded by Council Member Lady , and
on the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Membe;:rs Runels, Lady, Tolley,Fuller,-and Mayor Dougall
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
The foregoing resolution was passed and adopted this 24th day of February 1998.
