ORDINANCE NO. 298 c,s, AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE AMENDING THE ARROYO GRANDE MUNICIPAL CODE BY AMENDING SECTION 1001 OF ARTICLE 10, CHAPTER 6 OF TITLE 6 THERETO ESTABLISHING FEES AND RATES FOR THE USE OF PUBLIC SEWERS THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1: Title 6 of the Arroyo Grande Municipal Code is amended by amending Section 1001 of Article 10 of Chapter 6 thereto as follows: Section 6-6.1001. All customers upon connection to a public sewer line shall be required to pay a bimonthly sewer charge for those pipelines and appurtenances constructed, maintained and operated by the City primarily for the collection of sewage and the conveyance thereof to the sewage plant owned and operated by the South San Luis Obispo County Sanitation District in accordance with the following schedule effective September 22, 19S3 through January 21, 19S4: USE RATE Single Family Dwelling Two dollars and forty-five cents per month ($2.45) Each Single Family Dwelling Unit Two dollars and forty-five in any duplex, multiple dwelling, cents per month ($2.45) apartment house, mobile home or travel trailer Motels and Hotels One dollar and thirty-five cents ($1.35) per unit per month without kitchen fac'L- ities; One dollar and seventy-five cents ($1.75) per unit per month with kitchen facilities Commercial, Industrial and Businesses Two dollars and forty-five cents ($2.45) per month or 50% of the monthly water bill, whichever sum is greater Higher rate if heavy dis- charge or character of sewage warrants Hospital, Rest Home or Convalescent Home One dollar and thirty-five cents ($1.35) per author- ized bed capacity per month as licensed by the State of California, or 50% of the monthly water bilL, which- ever sum is greater Churches Two dollars and forty-five cents ($2.45) per month Schools (Non-boarding) Two dollars and forty-five cents ($2.45) per month, per 100 average daily attendance plus two dollars and forty-five cents ($2.45) per month for a school witn a cafeteria ___.___ u____ .____~_...____~ ..~ _ ..-- I . . ,,' 0, . SECTION 4: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect thirty (30) days after its passage; and within fifteen (15) days after its passage it shall be published once, together with the names of the Council Members voting thereon in the Five Cities Times-Press-Recorder.
