AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE
AMENDING THE ARROYO GRANDE MUNICIPAL CODE
BY AMENDING SECTIONS 9-4.808(b) and! (c)
OF CHAPTER 4. TITLE 9 RELATING TO THE GARDEN
APARTMENT (R-G) DISTRICT
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYIDI GRANDE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECT! ON 1: That Section B08(b) of Chapter 4. Title 9, of the
Arroyo Grande Municipal Code is amended to read as follows: I
Section 9-4.808(b): Side Yard. There shall be a side yard on
each side of the lot. extending from the front yard to the rear yard, of not
less than five (5) feet on an interior lot line. This side yard shall be ten
(0) feet in the event the dwelling unit is oriented in such a manner that
the side yard is actual1y the rear yard for the dwel1ing unit, a corner
lot shall have a side yard abutting the street of not less than ten (10)
feet.
SECTION 2: That Section 80B(c) of Chapter 4, Article 9, of the
Arroyo Grande"Municipal Code is amended to read as follows:
Se.ction 9-4.B08.(c): Rear Yard. Each lot shall have a rear yard
extending across the full width of the lot of not less than ten (10) feet.
In addition-. each dwelling-unit shall have a rear yard extending across
the full width-of the dwellingpof not less than ten (10) feet.
SECTION: 3: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect thirty
(30) days after its passage, and \'/ithin fifteen (15) days after its passage,
it shall be published once, together with the names of the Council Members
voting thereon, in the Five Cities Times-Press-Recorder.
