AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE
AMENDING TITLE 10, CHAPTER I, SECTION .02
OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO ATTENDANCE
OF COUNCIL MEMBERS AT PARKS AND RECREATION
COMMISSION MEETINGS
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE DOES ORDAIN AS
FOllOWS:
( SECT! ON 1: That Section 10-1.02 is amended as follows:
Section 10-1.02 Parks and Recreation Commission: Membership.
The members of the Parks and Recreation Commission shall be qualified electors
of the City and shall serve without compensation. The members of the
Commi ss i on sha 11 include seven (7) members of the public who shall hold
no other publ ic office in the City.
SECT! ON 2: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect I
thirty (30) days after its passage, and within fifteen (15) days after I
its passage it shall be published once, together with the names of the
Council Members voting thereon in the Five Cities Times-Press-Recorder.
On motion of Council Member Gallagher, seconded by Council Member
Vandeveer, and on the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Vandeveer, Gallagher, Millis, Hogan, Mayor Smith
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
the foregoing Ordinance was passed and adopted this 24th day of August, 1982.
