AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE
AMENDING TITLE 9, CHAPTER 1, SECTION .02
OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO ATTENDANCE
OF COUNCfL MEMBERS AT PLANNING COMMISSION
MEETINGS
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECT I ON 1: That Section 9-1.02 is amended as follows:
Section 9-1.02. Membership. The Planning Commission is hereby I
re-created and re-established which said Commission shall succeed unbrokenly
to the Commission previously existing under the provisions of this Section
heretofore existing, except as modified herein, and which commission
shall consist of seven (7) members as follows: Seven members who shall
be qualified electors of the City of Arroyo Grande, but who shall not
otherwise be officials of the City of Arroyo Grande, such members shall
be appointed by vote of the City Council after nomination by the mayor.

SECTION 2: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect thirty i
(30) days after its passage it shall be published once, together with the
names of the Council Members Voting thereon in the Five Cities Times-Press-
Recorder.
On motion of Council Member Vandeveer, seconded by Council Member
Hogan, and on the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Vandeveer, Millis, Hogan, Mayor Pro Tem Gallagher
NOES: None
ABSENT: Mayor Sm i th
the foregoing Ordinance was passed and adopted this 10th day of August, 1982..
