AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE
AMENDING CHAPTER 14, TITLE 4 OF THE ARROYO
GRANDE MUNICIPAL CODE BY ADDING SUBPARAGRAPH (d)
TO SECTION 4-14.06 THEREOF TO PROHIBIT PLAYING
OF GOLF IN CITY PARKS
THE CITY COUNCIL OF!THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE DOES ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: Chapter 14 of Title 4 of the Arroyo Grande I
Municipal Code is amended by adding subparagraph (d) to read as follows:
(d) play golf, drive, hit, pitch or putt golf balls into or
upon any city park or green belt. The use of golfing
equipment, clubs and golf balls shall be prohibited from
use in city park areas.
SECT! ON 2: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
thirty (30) days after its passage, and within fifteen (15) days after
its passage, it shall be published once, together with the names of the
Council Members voting thereon, in the Five Cities Times-Press-Recorder.
On motion of Council Member Smith, seconded by Council Member
Vandeveer, and on the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Smith, Millis, Vandeveer, Mayor Pope
NOES: None
ABSENT: Council Member Hogan
