AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ARROYO GRANDE AMENDING THE ARROYO GRANDE MUNICIPAL
CODE BY AMENDING SECTION 1001 OF ARTICLE 10,
CHAPTER 6 OF TITLE 6 THERETO ESTABLISHING FEES
AND RATES FOR USE OF PUBLIC SEWERS
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE DOES HEREBY ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: Title 6 of the Arroyo Grande Municipal Code is amended
by amending Subsection 1001 of Article 10 of Chapter 6 thereto as follows: I,
Section 6-6.1001. All customers upon connection to a public sewer line
shal I be required to pay a bimonthly sewer charge for those pipel ines and
appurtenances constructed, maintained and operated by the City primarily
for the collection of sewage and the conveyance thereof.to the sewage plant
owned and operated by the South San Luis Obispo County Sanitation District
in accordance with the following schedule:
USE RATE
Single Family Dwelling One and one half dollars per month
($1.50)
Each Single Family Dwelling Unit One and one half dollars per month
in any duplex, multiple dwell ing, ($1.50)
apartment house, mobile home or
travel trai ler
Motels and Hotels Eighty cents ($.80) per unit per
month without kitchen facilities;
One dollar ($1.00) per unit per
month with kitchen facilities
Commercial, Industrial and Businesses One and one half dollars ($1.50)
per month or 40% of the monthly
water bill, whichever sum is greater
Higher rate if heavy discharge or
character of sewage warrants
Hospital, Rest Home or Convalescent Home Eighty cents ($.80) per authorized
bed capacity per month, as licensed
by the State of California, or 40%
of the monthly water bill, whichever
sum is greater
