ORDINANCE NO. 231 C.S.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE AMENDING
CHAPTER 3, TITLE 9 OF THE ARROYO GRANDE MUNICIPAL CODE
TO AMEND SECTION 503, SUBSECTION (b)
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That Subsection (b) of Section 503, Chapter 3, Title 9
of the Arroyo Grande Municipal Code is amended to read as follows:
(b) As an incentive to creating better overall communities,
the Commission may authorize reductions in lot size to not
[ less than 4,000 square feet,. but with no increase in density
in the overall development. The Commission may authorize
simi lar deviations from other standards set forth where such
deviations are for the purposes set forth in this section.
In the case of condominiums (planned unit developments), the
Commission may authorize reduction in the minimum floor area
of not less than 600 square feet, but with no increase in
density in the overall develppment.
SECTION 2: This Ordinance shall be in 'full force and effect
thi.rty (30) days after its. passage, and within fifteen (IS) days after its
passage, it shall be published ;once, together with the names of the Council
Members voting thereon in the Five Cities Times-Press-Recorder.
On motion of Council Member Smith, seconded by Council Member
Mi 11 is, and on the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Smith, Hogan, Millis, and Vandeveer.
NOES: None
ABSENT: Mayor Pope
the foregoing Ordinance was passed and adopted this 23rd day of September, 1980.
