RESOLUTION NO. 2169

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ARROYO GRANDE ESTABLISHING A "NO PARKING"
ZONE ON A PORTION OF GRAND AVENUE (1489 TO
AND INCLUDING 1539 GRAND AVENUE) (MUNICIPAL
CODE SEC. 2-7.04)
WHEREAS, it appears necessary and desirable to prohibit parking on a
portion of Grand Avenue, as specifically described below:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Arroyo Grande, as follows:
That a "No Parking" zone be establ ished on the southerly
frontage of Grand Avenue, extending from a point twenty-
eight feet (28') west of the centerline of the intersection
of Grand Avenue and Courtland Street, thence easterly to
a point on the southerly right-of-way line, forty feet (40')
east of the centerline of the intersection of Grand Avenue
and Courtland Street.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Chief of Police of the City of Arroyo
Grande be, and is hereby authorized to provide and install sufficient signs
and/or markings to 'indicate said No Parking zone.
On motion of Council Member Johnson , seconded by Council Member
Mi 11 is , and on the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Johnson, Millis, Porter and Mayor Mankins
NOES: None I
ABSENT: Council Member Moots
the foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted this 13th day of I
October, 1987.
