A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY ,
,
OF ARROYO GRANDE ESTABLISHING A "NO PARKING"
ZONE ON A PORTION OF GRAND AVENUE (990 GRAND
AVENUE) (MUNICIPAL CODE SEC. 2-7.04)
WHEREAS, it appears necessary and desirable to prohibit parking on a
portion of Grand Avenue, as specifically described below:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Arroyo Grande, as follows:
That a "No Parking" zone be established on the northerly
frontage of Grand Avenue, extending from a point four
hundred ten feet (410') west of the centerline of the
intersection of Grand Avenue and Halcyon Road, thence
westerly to a point on the northerl) right-of-way line,
four hundred thirty-five feet (435' west of the center-
line of the intersection of Grand Avenue and Halcyon Road.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Chief of Police of the City of Arroyo
Grande be, and is hereby authorized to provide and install sufficient signs
and/or markings to indicate said No Parking zone.
On motion of Council Member Millis , seconded by Council Member
Johnson , and on the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Millis, Johnson, Porter and Mayor Mankins
NOES: None
ABSENT: Council Member Moots
the foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted this 13th day of
October, 1987, !
