RESOLUTION NO. 2163
A RESOLUION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY i
OF ARROYO GRANDE ESTABLISHING A "NO PARKING" I
ZONE ON A PORTION OF GRAND AVENUE (1020 GRAND !
AVENUE) (MUNICIPAL CODE SEC. 2-7.04) I
WHEREAS, it appears necessary and desirable to prohibit parking on a
portion of Grand Avenue, as specifically described below:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Arroyo Grande, as follows:
That a "No Parking" zone be establ ished on the northerly
frontage of Grand Avenue, extending from a point two
hundred ninety-five feet (295') west of the centerline
of the intersection of Grand Avenue and Alder Street,
thence westerly to a point on the northerly right-of-
way line, three hundred twenty feet (320') west of the
centerline of the intersection of Grand Avenue and Alder
Street.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Chief of Pollee of the City of Arroyo
Grande be, and is hereby authorized to provide and install sufficient signs
and/or markings to Indicate said No Parking zone.
On motion of Counc i 1 Member Mill i s , seconded by Council Member
Johnson , and on the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Millis, Johnson, Porter and Mayor Mankins
NOES: None
ABSENT: Council Member Moots
the foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted this 13th day of
October, 1987,
