RESOLUTION NO. 2137
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ARROYO GRANDE ESTABLISHING A "NO PARKING"
ZONE ON A PORTION OF SOUTH HALCYON ROAD (310
SOUTH HALCYON ROAD)(MUNICIPAL CODE SEC. 2-7.04)
WHEREAS, it appears necessary and desirable to prohibit parking on a
portion of South Halcyon Road, as specifically described below:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Arroyo Grande, as follows:
That a "No Parking" zone be established on the
westerly frontage of South Halcyon Road extending
from a point 335 feet south of the centerline of
the intersection of Dodson Way and South Halcyon
Road southerly to a point on the westerly right
of way line, 410 feet south of the centerline of
the intersection of Dodson Way and South Halcyon
Road,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Chief of Police of the City of Arroyo
Grande be, and is hereby authorized to provide and install sufficient signs
and/or markings to indicate said No Parking zone.
On motion of Council Member Johnson, seconded by Council Member
Moots, and on the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Johnson, Moots, Porter, Millis and Mayor Mankins
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
the foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted this 26th day of May,
1987.
