RESOLUTION NO. 2130 i
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE ACCEPTING
EIR AND ADDENDUMS FOR ROYAL OAKS ESTATES
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Arroyo Grande did
on May 1, 1979, consider, and by Resolution No. 79-669 approve the EIR
on the proposed Knollwood (formerly Halcyon Hills) rezoning and development;
and
WHEREAS, said Planning Commission also subsequently considered
[ a 1984 Addendum to the Final EIR for the revised project proposal called
Oak Knoll development; and
WHEREAS, said Planning Commission on July 9, 1986, required a focused
Addendum to the Final EIR to be prepared for the current project proposal
called Royal Oaks Estates planned development amendment and Tentative
Map Tract No. 1390; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission considered these documents and
on December 2, 1986, received additional testimony at public hearings
thereon, and by staff report and other written input and discussions
at said hearing found that the Final EIR and Addendums adequately address
the possible adverse impacts associated with the project, in accordance
with CEQA and City guidelines; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Arroyo Grande on February
24 and March 10, 1987, received Resolution No. 86-1104 EIR in which
the Planning COlIIITission recommends approval and acceptance of said Final
EIR and Addendums, including responses to prior written comments, and
further considered testimony and ~~s~ussion of these documents.
NOW, THEREFORE, 8E IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City
of Arroyo Grande that the Final EIR and Addendums, are hereby approved
in accordance with CEQA and City guidelines.
On motion of Council Member Porter, seconded by Council Member
Moots, and on the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Porter, Moots, Millis, Johnson and Mayor Mankins
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
the foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted this 28th day of April,
1987.
