RESOLUTION NO. 2127
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE AUTHORIZING
THE DEPARTMENT OF GENERAL SERVICES OF THE STATE
OF CALIFORNIA TO PURCHASE CERTAIN ITEMS
WHEREAS, the Police Department of the City of Arroyo Grande has requested
approval for the purchase of a 1987 Chevrolet Caprice, approved in the
1986-87 budget; and
WHEREAS, the City Council approved the request for the new police
car at a regular meeting February 24, 1987.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City
of Arroyo Grande does hereby authorize the Office of Procurement, Department
of General Services of the State of California to purchase 1987 Model CHP
Chevrolet Caprice for and on behalf of the Arroyo Grande Police Department
pursuant to Section 14814, Government Code, and that James C, Clark is
hereby authorized and directed to sign and deliver all necessary requests
and other documents in connection therewith for and on behalf of the Arroyo
Grande Police Department.
On motion of Council Member Mill is , seconded by Council
Member Johnson , and on the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Millis, Johnson, Porter and Mayor Mankins
NOES: None
ABSENT: Council Member Moots
