RESOLUTION NO. 2126
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ARROYO GRANDE ESTABLISHING A BOULEVARD NO
U-TURN SIGN AT THE INTERSECTION OF GRAND
AVENUE AND ALDER STREET.
(MUNICIPAL CODE 4-3.18)
WHEREAS, it appears necessary and desirable to establish a boulevard
no U-turn sign at the intersection of Grand Avenue and Alder Street.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ARROYO GRANDE, AS FOLLOWS:
That a no u-turn sign be placed on Grand
Avenue at the centerline, easterly and
westerly from its intersection with the
centerline of Alder Street to prohibit
u-turn to east bound and west bound
traffic on Grand Avenue with its inter-
section with Alder Street.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Chief of Police of the City of Arroyo
Grande be, and is hereby authorized, to provide and install sufficient
signs and/or markings to indicate said no u-turn signs.
On motion of Council Member Mill is , seconded by Council Member
Johnson , and on the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Mi 11 is, Johnson, Porter and Mayor Mank i ns
NOES: None
ABSENT: Council Member Moots
