RESOLUTION NO. 2125
A RESOLUTION OF THE aTY OOUNCIL OF TIlE CITY OF
ARROYO GRANDE THAT A PUBLIC NUISANCE MAY EXIST AT
201 BRJS(X) ROAD (APN 7&-321-009) .
WHEREAS, the OVITIer of the property located at 201 Brisco Road has permitted such
property to be used as a used car lot without benefit of the proper zoning, Gty business license, Gty
sign permit or other necessary authorization; and
WHEREAS, the owner was notified of such violation and has failed to cease such use of
property.
NOW, 'I1:IEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Gty Cbuncil does fmd, based on the I
recornnendations of the Planrllng Director, that a Public Nuisance rr.ay exist on the aforementioned
property, ccm:ronly known as 201 Brisco Road, Arroyo Grande, California, and Irol'e particularly
described as follows:
In the Gty of Arroyo Grande, COunty of San Luis Obispo, State of
California, a Portion of Lot 106 of the Ranchos Cbrral de Piedra, Pisnx>
and Balsa de 018ITis8l. Am identified by COunty Assessor's Parcel
No. 77-051-21.
BE IT FUR"IHIDt RESOLVED that in the event of fmding that a Public Nuisance exists, it
will be the intent of the aty Cbuncil to direct the Director of Planning and the aty Attorney to abate
the nuisance, all at the owner's expense.
BE IT FUK'111hK RESOLVED that the aty Cbuncil has directed the Gty Oerk to cause to
be oonspicoously posted on the premises a certified copy of this Resolution, as well as a "Notice of
Public Hearing"; and, further, that at least fifteen (15) days before the Public Hearing, the Gty Qerk
shall cause to be served on the owner one copy of the "Notice of Public Hearing" and a certified copy
of this Resolution.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the date and time fixed for the Public Hearing shall be on
the 14th day of April, 1987,at 7:30P.M., in the Gty Cbuncil Chambers at 215 E. Branch Street, Arroyo
Grande, at which time all interested parties may testify and present evidence regarding this matter.
On rrotion of Cbuncil Member Johnson, seconded by Cbuncil Member Porter, and on the
following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Cbuncil Menbers Johnson, Porter, Moots, Millis and Mayor Mankins
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
the foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted this 3rd day of March, 1987.
