RESOLUTION NO. 2004
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITt COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE AUTHORIZING
THE DEPOSIT OF CITY FUNDS IN THE LOCAL AGENCY
INVESTMENT FUND PURSUANT TO GOVERNMENT CODE
SECTION 16429.1
WHEREAS, all California cities, including the City of Arroyo Grande,
are authorized under Government Code Section 16429.1 to deposit surplus
money in the Local Agency Investment Fund in the California State Treasury.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Arroyo Grande as follows:
1. That the Arroyo Grande City Finance Director is hereby authorized
to enter into an agreement to deposit or withdraw money in the Local
Agency Investment Fund in the California State Treasury in accordance
with the provisions of Government Code Section 16429.1 of any money
in the Arroyo Grande City Treasury not required for said City's immediate
needs.
2. That DAVID E. BACON, City Finance Director; ROBERT MACK, City
Manager, and JOANN WIZEMANN, City Treasurer, are hereby authorized to
order the deposit or withdrawal of the City of Arroyo Grande money in
the Local Agency Investment Fund on behalf of the City of Arroyo Grande,
P. O. Box 550, Arroyo Grande, California, 93420.
3. That position successors to the named individuals in Number 2.
above are hereby authorized to order deposits and withdrawals in like
manner, on behalf of the City of Arroyo Grande.
On motion of Councilmember Johnson,'seconded by Councilmember Porter,
and on the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Mayor Smith and Councilmembers Gallagher, Johnson, Moots and
Porter
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
the foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted this 28th day of October,
1986.
