RESOLUTION NO.3 2 9 1
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ARROYO GRANDE ADOPTING THE FISCAL YEAR 1998-99 ANNUAL
BUDGET AND MAKING APPROPRIATIONS FOR THE AMOUNT BUDGETED
WHEREAS. a proposed Annual Budget for the City of Arroyo Grande for the Fiscal Year
commencing July 1, 1998 and ending June 30, 1999 was submitted to the City Council and
is on file in the City Clerk's Office; and,
WHEREAS, proceedings for adoption of said Budget have been duly taken; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council made certain revisions, corrections, and modifications to said
proposed Budget; and,
WHEREAS. the City Manager will cause the Budget document to be modified to reflect the
changes ordered by the City Council.
NOW, THEREFORE. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE DOES
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The Budget, as amended, is adopted as the Annual Budget for the City of
Arroyo Grande for the Fiscal Year commencing July 1, 1998 and ending June 3D, 1999.
SECTION 2. At the close of the Fiscal Year, unexpended appropriations in the Operating
Budget will be carried forward to the next fiscal year as necessary to underwrite the
expense of outstanding purchase commitments. Unexpended appropriations for
authorized but uncompleted projects as approved by the City Council may be carried
forward to the next succeeding Budget upon recommendation by the Financial Services
Director and approval of the City Manager.
On motion of Council Member Tolley , seconded by Council
Member Fuller , and on the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES:Council Members Tolley, Fuller, Runels, Lady, and Mayor Dougall
NOES:None
ABSENT: None
The foregoing Resolution was adopted this 3rd day of June ,1998.
