RESOLUTION NO.3292
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
QITY OF ARROYO GRANDE AMENDING THE
WASTE DISPOSAL SERVicE RATE STRUCTURE
TO REQUIRE A VARIABLE CAN RATE
WHEREAS, the Arroyo Grande Municipal Code Section 6-4.10 Collection
rates - solid waste. Requires .that rates for solid waste collection and
disposal may be set by the City Council; and
WHEREAS, the City Council held a workshop on May 26, 1998 to consider
setting a variable can rate; and
WHEREAS, the current solid waste collection and disposal rates were
effective ~ay 2, 1994, pursuant to Resolution 3025; and
WHEREAS, after considering information contained in the staff reports dated
May 26, 1998 and June 9, 1998, and received during the public hearing of
June 9, 1998.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of
Arroyo Grande hereby amends the solid waste collection and disposal rates,
effective October 1, 1998, and as shown in "Exhibit A" attached hereto.
On motion of Council Member Tolley , seconded by Council
Member Lady , and on the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES:Council Members Tolley, Lady, Runels, Fuller, and Mayor Dougall
NOES: None
ABSENT:None
The foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted this 9th day of June 1998.
