The SoCo Transit JPA would be abolished; assets transferred to the RTA
The RTA JPA would be amended & restated:
Adds new South County Transit Committee for local control –
SCTC consists of three city reps & one county rep from RTA Board
Meets annually to consider budget & service levels in South County
Joint Powers Agreement impacts

Present consolidation concept to city councils in April & May
Present final RTA JPA amendment to RTA & SoCo Transit Boards in July
Seek city councils/BoS adoption of final RTA JPA & cessation of SoCo JPA in August & September
File with Secretary of State in November
