RESOLUTION NO. 1966
-
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GIlANDE
APPROVING THE 1986/1987 ANNUAL LOCAL TRANSPORTATION FUND
TO THE SAN LUIS OBISPO AREA COORDINATING COUNCIL
WHEREAS, revenues derived from 1/4-cent of tbe 6 percent retail sales
ta~ collected statewide are apportioned to local governments to be used
for transportation purposes, pursuant to the Transportstion Development
Act of 1971; and
WHEREAS , tbe City of Arroyo Grallde's apportionment of Local
Transportation Funds (LTF) for FY 1986/87 is $243,507; and
WIlER FA!: , in addition, the City of Arroyo Grande' s apportiolllllent of
State Transportation Assistance (StA) Funds is $23,618; and
WHEREAS , the City lntellds to uae its LTF and STA revenues for
operational e~penses associated witb tbe SCAT System, the Regional
. Halldlcapped Transi t System, alld for Streets aIId Roads; alld
WHEREAS , the City of Arroyo Grande hereby.states a preference for
using additional LTF, if such funds become available, for Streets and
1!.oads, provided, however, that the City reserves the rigbt to file an
amended claim.
NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Arroyo Grande City
Council approves the City's LTF and STA claims for Fiscsl Year 19&'/87

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Arroyo
Grallde , in accordance wi tb Chapter 1400, Ststutes 1971 alld applicable
rules and resulat10ns, approves the 1986/1987 I>ftft.."l Transportation
Claim, as per Exhibit A attached, and authorbes ita submittal, along
with other docuaenta tion required, to the San Luis Obispo Area
